Here’s how QueerWall works to minimize its carbon footprint.

100% Demand-Driven Production (Zero Waste)

QueerWall operates entirely without large, resource-intensive warehouses. Each poster is printed and each frame is assembled only after you place your order. This means we never produce more than what is actually demanded, which allows us to avoid unnecessary waste and overproduction in the supply chain.

Environmentally Certified Premium Paper and Gentle Printing

Our unique designs look best on materials that last over time and respect nature.

  • FSC-certified: Our posters are printed on paper from responsibly managed forests that take environmental, social, and economic responsibility.

  • Water-based ink: We exclusively use gentle, water-based inks in our printing process.

  • Long lifespan: The material is a sturdy, matte premium paper (200 g/m²) that provides a razor-sharp, glare-free result with extremely deep color saturation.

Sustainable Wooden Frames

Forests are one of our planet's most crucial resources. Our durable frames are made from robust pine from either FSC-certified forestry or equivalent, responsible sources. We offer frames in black, white, light wood, and dark wood with an elegant profile.

Designed to Last

Sustainability is fundamentally about longevity. To protect your art from wear and tear (and ensure safe transport), we use unbreakable, protective plexiglass in all our frames. If you order a framed poster, it also arrives fully assembled, with a hanging kit included so it can be hung on the wall immediately.
